Latin Dance- Introduction to Salsa & Merengue

Discover the joy and energy of Latin dance, no experience needed! Join this beginner-friendly course led by Cuban instructor Yensy García, in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Focus: The class focuses on rhythm, coordination, and musicality. Learning is based on individual steps and movements, allowing participants to build a strong foundation in Salsa and Merengue at their own pace, through short, easy-to-follow choreographies. A Space to Enjoy: Participants will learn to connect with the music and dance in their own way. A fun and positive space to move, smile, and enjoy. Partner Practice: The initial focus is individual; however, there will be opportunities to practice in pairs. No partner required—participants are welcome to join on their own or with a partner. Results: By the end of the program, participants will have learned the basic steps and gained the confidence to begin dancing with a partner and enjoy social dancing. Time: 06:00 pm - 07:00 pm.
